What is it?

MIXXIT CITIES is a radical new take on Professional Bartender Education. The brilliant four-part course takes bartenders on a real journey into the cultural heart of historic hotels, their famous bartenders, specific cocktails whilst exploring period serving techniques, methods and tools. The training uniquely spans New York, London, Paris and New Orleans, and juxtaposes aspects of the historic and contemporary. You do not want to miss out on this! Mixxit New York uniquely plunges into the very fabric of NYC’s iconic hotels, into the minds of its bartenders and the drinking culture of the residents and immigrants of the time.  This inspiring new take on training also provides lucky attendees some random quirky bar tools to cause a smash in your local tavern or indeed in a Checker Cab.

Mixxit London goes underground in the muddy tunnels of Punch and Ale Taverns and Inns past and highlights how these olde drinks can be incorporated into the contemporary.  This groundbreaking session will be launched by 'Cockney Royalty' and TV Star Wayne Collins from UK MIXXIT.

Mixxit Paris

Mixxit Paris waltzes into the centre of culture and gaiety.  This session stirs up the most fabulous drinks from the grand hotels and pioneers of the cocktail in Europe and adds 21st century panache.  This delicately woven session pin-points forgotten stories, dainty personalities and is suitably fashionable. Lucky attendees receive randomly exquisite bar tools for causing scenes at your gin palace or boudoir.

Mixxit New Orleans

Mixxit New Orleans is the crowning glory to Mixxit Cities 2011. Delving into the Crescent City of Voodoo and home of the Jazz funeral, this session examines the curious personalities, immortal bars and the myriad of grenade-gumbo-jumbo cultures in one spicy hit.   This sizzling new session provides unique bar tools for killing Alligators.
