Cocktail Island A Hit!
A Sun drenched Island on Sydney Harbour hosted international speakers during the three day cocktail festival, Cocktail Island.
The spectacular event came to a head at Julepalooza! Lucky industry folk gathered to play Pro-am Cornhole. An outstanding game from Kentucky where you throw a curious little sack of corn through a hole cut into a plank of wood. Yee Haa! Musically, the crowd got down to the duelling blue grass banjos of Deliverance. We threw in some authentic butter salt popcorn and there were belly laughs all round.
Drinks you ask? Julepalooza served eager beavers an array of Juleps based on spirits including Bols Genever, Cruzan Single Barrel, Courvoisier and Maker’s Mark. A nice touch was serving the oldest Julep in the world; a Fry’s Turkish Delight.
With over 5000 people through the doors, the event was a great success. Thank you to Marco and all the team at the Island bar and PIM.
