Eight generations of the Nelthropp family have perfected the delicate balance, blending, and ageing of their highly awarded rum.  Each rum has its own distinctive personality but all Cruzan’s rums share the mark of consistency and quality.

Brand Information

Distilled, aged and blended in St Croix, US Virgin Islands.  Cruzan is made from the purest cane sugar, only from selected plantations and water from tropical aquifers.  Aged in charred American oak barrels.  This gives each rum a taste fit to bear the Cruzan name.  Each morning a panel, including Master Distiller Gary Nelthropp, conducts a “Triangle Taste Test”, sampling the most recent batch to ensure that it meets Cruzan’s high standard.

Cruzan Single Barrel Rum 12YO

Cruzan Single Barrel is the world’s first single barrel and the recipient of more awards than any other rum.  A hand-crafted blend of aged rums, five to twelve years old, it is aged a second time, after blending, in new American white oak casks charred to the distillery’s specifications.

The result is a smooth, mellow, medium to full-bodied rum, with a deep copper colour and remarkable complexity of flavours, including vanilla, toasted coconut, butterscotch, baking spices, tropical fruits, dried fruits and confectionery notes.  

This super premium rum is the star of the portfolio and a genuine pleasure to be sipped and savoured.  

Cruzan Estate Dark Rum 2YO

Cruzan Estate Dark Rum is aged two to four years, giving it a two year old designation.  It is filtered less to preserve more of the rich colour, texture and flavour.  It is an exceptionally clean, medium bodied rum that can be enjoyed on its own, on the rocks, or in a multitude of cocktails.
